She was preceded in death by her husband, Beverly Sydnor Mauck; her sister, Louise Carter Winfree; and by her parents, Christopher Valentine Winfree and Sarah Faw Winfree. She was born February 3, 1930 in Lynchburg, Va. Surviving are her sons, Beverly Sydnor Mauck Jr. (Louise Major Mauck) of Richmond, Christopher Winfree Mauck (Jean Montague Mauck) of Richmond and Armistead Burwell Mauck (Louise Cherry Mauck) of Kinston, N.C.; and five granddaughters, Meriwether Winfree, Louisa Sydnor, Peyton Montague, Tilden Louise and Madison Aldridge Mauck.
