She was always thoughtful. Most recently she crochet a beautiful lap blanket for my 96 year old mother and Jeannies aunt in CA! It's beautiful.

Visiting Jeanne in her cozy space on the third floor of Cox was always like a visit with my mom. Having been at Cox almost 20 years, I made many trips up there to pick up name tags or for help with a mail merge, but ended up sitting in her "guest" chair, talking to her about her knitting, her family, my family, the next best book to borrow from her collection or just asking for advice. She was a pillar of the Cox family, always willing to help in any way she could and we all miss her so much.

I was so fortunate to work with Jeanne at SMU's Cox School of Business, where she was the person you could always count on to be warm, kind, and funny - while also getting the job done. Many of use enjoyed her lending library and her creative crafting, but most of all she was the glue that brought so many of us together and helped create the Cox family. Thank you to her other family for sharing her with us!

Jeanne was fierce! A powerhouse of a friend, mom, sister, and colleague. Like someone else said, I miss her now but it was a blessing and joy to know her.

Jeanne is one of the best people I know. I worked with her at SMU and witnessed her fervent faith and dedication to family that spilled into her career. While I miss her now, what a joy to know her!

To know Jeanne was an honor. What a remarkable person, may the memory of her friendship sustain us all.
