Elizabeth A. Powell

July 11, 1962 - May 9, 2025

Elizabeth "Beth" A. Powell, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025. Born on July 11, 1962 to Ralph and Patricia Powell, Beth was a beloved sister, aunt, friend, and confidante whose warmth, spunk, and passion left a mark on everyone who knew her.

Beth spent much of her life caring for others. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in several care homes, where her compassion and dedication were evident in the lives she touched. She later worked as a transport aide at Allegiance Health, assisting patients with kindness and respect. In her final years of work, Beth contributed her skills in quality control at TRW, where her attention to detail and strong work ethic made a significant difference.

Known for her vibrant personality, Beth was spunky and passionate-especially when it came to standing up for what she believed in. She lived life with an energy and fire that inspired those around her, often living by her favorite saying: "If you can't be good, be good at it."

Beth leaves behind many loving siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gerard Powell.

A private Celebration of Life, per Beth's wishes, will be held for family and close friends. Details will be shared with family at a later date.

Beth's family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at Henry Ford Hospice. She received exceptional care when it mattered most, and their support brought great comfort in her final days. A special thank you to Janet, Bri, Emily, and Kyle, who provided unwavering care and love during her last few years. Your dedication, and kindness, is deeply appreciated by all of us.

Beth's boisterous strength, kind heart, spirited nature, and unforgettable words will be profoundly missed but forever remembered.
