Elizabeth Santini Obituary
Elizabeth "Aunt Lee" Santini, age 93, of Seymour, passed into eternal life on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Bishop Wicke Health Center in Shelton. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Santini. Elizabeth was born in Shelton on February 14, 1920 daughter of the late Theodore and Loretta (Rizzo) Terlizzi and has been a Seymour resident for the past 49 years. She was a great lady who loved animals, her flower gardens and crossword puzzles. She took great joy with her special niece, Gianna and her horse, Luna, spending countless hours horseback riding, showing and competing. Elizabeth is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Albert and Angelo Terlizzi and sister, Fannie Petrunenko. Friends may call on Monday from 9:30am to 10:30am at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby, CT. On Monday, her funeral will leave the funeral home at 10:30am for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Church at 11am. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
