Spangler family, When I was growing up at home, I looked forward to Saturday mornings because I knew Irene was coming to get her hair done and that she would be bringing me and my brothers Cracker Jacks or some other candy from the store. I will always have found memories of her. She never slowed down! She was a wonderful woman and I am truly sorry for your loss.

How true are the words in Irene's obituary about her smile! When my husband and I were dating, the "place to go" in our area for a Pepsi and hamburger was Tuggles Gap Restaurant. This was more than 50 years ago when her father operated the restaurant. Even then, Irene wore that cheerful beautiful smile. My sympathy to all who will miss her.

Marvin & Janet, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's homegoing. She was an amazing woman and loved by so many. She will be singing in Heaven's Choir, just in time for Christmas! Love to all!

Ms. Irene will be greatly missed by all of her Floyd Baptist Family. She was a wonderful lady full of God's Loving spirit. Praying for peace and strength during this time of need.
