Elizabeth C. Storch (Hess)

Bridgewater - Elizabeth C. Storch (Hess), 53, passed away peacefully on Thursday; November 29, 2018 at home with her loving family by her side. Born in Somerville to Richard Storch and Lois Romano, she grew up in Bound Brook and then settled her family in the Martinsville/Bridgewater area. Beth graduated from Bound Brook High School in 1983 where she loved her times in band, cheerleading, and spending time with many friends and her sister/brothers. She then went on to graduate from Douglass College (Rutgers) with an education degree. She first taught in Newark and finished her career at Bonnie Brae in Basking Ridge. She changed the lives of many of her students. Beth loved her sons, Eric and Christopher, as well as her fiance, Peter Ruschmann and her entire family, unconditionally. Her love of Nantucket, the beach, traveling, and music brought joy to all around her. Beth was a true inspiration with a big, beautiful heart, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Beth is predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Michael and Rose Storch, maternal grandmother, Christine Green, and stepfather, Vincent Romano.

She is survived by her parents, Richard Storch (Maryann Wasik) and Lois Romano; sons, Eric Hess (Lianna) and Christopher Hess; her loving Fiance, Peter Ruschmann; siblings Barbara Nemeth (Richie), Robert Romano (Dan), and Vincent Romano (Lynn), nieces Chrisanna, Aimee, and Sara Nemeth. She is also survived by her cousin and aunt, Kathy and Arlene Rizzo, among other loving family and many friends.

Visitation will be 3-7pm Tuesday at Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave, Somerville. Cremation will be private.
