How sad the world is now to lose such a vigorous spirit like Billie's. She was one in a million, in her open, accepting and caring heart and strong minded hopes for family and friends. She had a great laugh and a warm hug. Thanks for being part of my life, Billie. I shall miss our talks.

Your mom was a great lady who had a passion for those "Campbelltown Kids"; 2 of which were mine. My condolences to your entire clan.

Billie was my principal when I first went back to teaching in 1985. My classroom was in Safe a Place Women's Shelter but I was attached to Campbelltown School. She was one of the most supportive and professional administrators I had ever worked with.
As my job was very confidential, she was the only one I could talk to, vent with, and share ideas with. She was always there for me. She was a great lady who did not suffer fools gladly, spoke her mind, and totally supported her staff by treating them as the professionals they were.
A great lady, good friend, and a woman who left her mark.

Our deepest sympathies on the passing of 'mom'. She has been such a fixture in this community for so many years. She will be missed.

I am very sorry to read of Mrs. Thompson's passing. She was my grade one teacher at Campbelltown school in 1968. She was such a dear lady and I was very happy to run into her over the years. She always remembered me.
