Elizabeth Jackson Whitmore (96) of Macedon, formerly of North Rose, New York, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023. She was born in Yonkers, New York, daughter of the late James Jackson and Augusta (Schierloh) Jackson. Elizabeth (Betty)
spent many years in Madison, Connecticut and Stony Brook, New York, before she and her husband retired to North Rose. She served on multiple committees in several churches and enjoyed writing short stories, crafting (especially woodworking) and
gardening.
She is predeceased by her husband, G. David Whitmore (2011). Survived by her daughter, Ann (Euan) Morton of Macedon, and grandchildren, Cathlo Morton, Duncan Morton, and Oran Morton.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at the Macedon Center
Meetinghouse/Macedon Grange #326 (1208 Macedon Center Rd, Macedon, New York 14502) at 3pm on Saturday May 27th. Dress informal.Refreshments will be served. Any questions email [email protected]
