Ella M. Geary

Ella M. Geary, 76, of New Florence, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008, in Memorial Medical Center. She was born Sept. 1, 1932 in New Florence, a daughter of the late James D. and Goldie Jane Johns McAdams. She was a member of New Florence United Methodist Church and New Florence Fire Company Auxiliary. Ella will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Kenneth Guy Geary; children, Kenneth M. and Phyllis, Westmont, William C. and Amy, Connecticut, and Debra L. and Randy, Laughlintown; grandsons Zac, Bryant, Jesse, Shane, Chris, Lee and Tyler; granddaughter Audra; sister Goldie Settlemire, Johnstown; brothers J.D. McAdams Jr., Ohio, and Thomas McAdams, Johnstown; and special friend Audrey Parry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers John ?Buck,? Leo, Bert, Joseph, Edward, William Barney and Harry McAdams; and sisters Mary Preuss, Erma McKlveen, Sara Vamos and Grace McAdams. A service was held Monday at the Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, with Pastor Sharon Hamley officiating. Interment was in Bethel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one?s choice.
