Ellen Byrnes

Peter and I enjoyed many spirited discussions with Ellen about US politics. We always looked forward to her well informed insights. She carried that intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm into all aspects of her life. I was fortunate to be in her St Catharines book group and valued her articulate interpretations based on her personal experiences. We expected to have more time with her to share meals and little trips and lively stories. Our sincere condolences to her family and friends. May she Rest In Peace.

Ellen lived next door to us. She was a great neighbour. She was kind, smart, and always had a smile for us. We will miss her. She leaves a gap in our condo community. She was a great addition to our Condo Board of Directors. We will miss her.

We are so very sorry to hear of Ellen’s passing and would like to extend our deepest condolences to her family. Ellen was a well known member of our Condo Community and she will be missed by so many. Ellen was an inspiration to all of us, she never let her disability stand in her way. We enjoyed many interesting conversations and were lucky enough to be the recipients of her legendary butter tarts.
