My grandma was one of my best friends! She always gave the best advice. When I needed someone to tell me that I was doing great, or that I was loved, I would call grandma Ellen.

Some of my favorite memories are visiting her in Vegas. She would get a wheelchair, so I could push her around. Once while pushing her around, we came up to a ramp and she told me to run and push her down the ramp. She went flying and people were jumping out of the way. I ran after her laughing.

My grandma was the kind of person that everyone could like. I often introduced her to my friends because I thought my grandma was so cool. Even when I was a teenager and thought all the adults in my life were annoying lol.

When rough things would come up in school, whether I had mean friends or bad boyfriends, she would pick me up. She would often tell me that I deserved the best things in life because I was her little sweetheart.

If you new my grandma, you knew her love and kindness.

I miss her so much!

Wow my friend, I can't believe that you are gone! I think about all the good conversations we had about politics and all of the scary people in this world. I'm so proud to have had you as my mother-in-law but most of all you being a mother, friend and just someone I could talk to about anything. I'm truly going to miss you Ellen and I'll see you in the next life so give them hell until I get there!
Love you forever,
Rosie

My condolences go out to the family. I met Ellen when she would visit her daughter Camille in Reno. When they went out,I would tag along and we all would have fun. I admired Camille and Ellens mother daughter relationship. Ellen was sweet and tried to mother me as well offering motherly advice when needed.I appreciated that very much ! She was kind, smart and funny.Ellen will be missed all. Many blessings , with love Tao

Ellen and I were classmates at Pocatello High School, graduating together in 1959. I really enjoyed her company.
For many years, my parents and I did business with her family at Harten's Aluminum. They were an awesome family, and it is always sad to lose a classmate. My prayers go out to her family.
