Ellen died Sunday March 12, 2023 after a long and valiant fight against cancer. Ellen is survived by her brother Edward Jr. (Anne) who was her greatest advocate and caregiver. Her sister Julie L Diersing, (Tony) Nephews Steven Lachtrupp (Jenny) , Daniel, and Michael. Nieces Megan, Melissa, and Michaela. Grandnephews Jaxson and Pierce. Grandnieces Ava, Kaylee, Ellie, Addie, Mackenzie, and Felicity. Her closet friends Karen Gay and Lisa Thamann. She was preceded in death by parents Edward and Mary and her sister Ann M. Lachtrupp.

Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Thursday March 16, 2023 at 1030 am, Westwood. Vestibule will be open at 930. Life celebration will take place afterwards. Details to follow.

Ellen fought for herself gallantly without much assistance from the doctors involved in her care. Her death was Painful and Preventable. Please advocate for yourself and your loved ones. Thank you to Hospice of Cincinnati for their great care. You are much appreciated.
