News Death Notice
LOWE, Ellen M. 70, of Springfield, passed away Monday March 17, 2014. She was born November 21, 1943 in Springfield, the daughter of Charles and Rosella Mae (Frost) Drummond. Ellen enjoyed playing bingo and family cookouts. Survivors include children, Donna Mae Rouch, Rebecca Keaton, Merry C. Wallace, Jacqueline Lanum, Joe E. Lanum, Jr, and Gregory (Kathy) Lanum, all of Springfield; 107 grandchildren; numerous great and great - great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Eddie (Sue) Drummond, Terry Drummond, all of Springfield, Larry Drummond (John) of Florida, Charles (Gloria) Drummond, Maryanne Roush, Patricia Sherrock, Donna Carey, and Diane (George) Pennington, all of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James E. Lanum; grandchildren, Yolanda, Joey, Diorie, Tommy, and Roger James Jr; and brother, Tom Drummond. Visitation will be held from 2:00pm until 5:00pm Saturday in the JONES - KENNEY - ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will immediately follow at 5:00pm.

I was stunned to find out she passed. I though she would be around forever. She was a great person and a dear friend to my mom, Kim Belford. Now my mom has some good company in heaven... RIP. Sorry to the family for you loss.
