News Death Notice
MAST (Milyard), Ellen Faye Age 61 of Brookville, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. She was a loving wife, mom, grandma, daughter, sister and friend. Ellen was a former member of Covenant Baptist Church and had been attending Cincinnati Primitive Baptist Church. She loved home schooling her children, sewing and gardening. She is survived by her husband of 31 years: William "Bill" Mast, children: Rebecca (Jeremy) Wilkins of Bellefontaine, Jonathan Mast of Lebanon, Susannah Mast of IN, Sarah Mast of Brookville, grandchildren: Gavin and Lumen Wilkins, mother: Rhoda (Lavy) Milyard of Brookville, sister: Alice Milyard of Brookville, brothers: William (Gloria) Milyard of Columbus, Carl Milyard of CO, Richard (Carol) Milyard of Brookville, David (Vicki) Milyard of Brookville, special friend and caregiver: Pat Nicolato of Troy, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father: Emmert Alfred Milyard. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the Plainview Open Bible Church (1488 Johnsville - Brookville Rd., Brookville, OH) with Elder Lasserre Bradley officiating. Interment will follow the service at Eversole Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood). Aunt Ellen's smile was so clear and unfettered, her gentle laugh, her kindness, her wisdom, her love for her family, and her enjoyment of life...these are among my memories of her. Her love for flowers and beauty is a precious thing and I can only try to imagine the beauties and glorious things she is experiencing now. I feel her spirit near and heaven seems a bit more real to me, knowing she is there. I am thankful we had her in our family and for the memories gathered through the years. Thoughts, hugs, and prayers go out continually for you, Uncle Bill-Rebecca-Jonathan-Susannah-Sarah. I love you all! MaryLou

Bill, Sarah and Family, Ray and I just learned tonight of the passing of your beloved wife, mother and grandmother, of blessed memory. It was a privilege and a gift to our lives to have known her and to have had her in our lives. We hope that the loving and caring of family and friends will be a comfort to you and bring you peace along with your wonderful memories of her. She will always be a part of our lives.
