Ellen Rose Nestor

I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Nestor's passing. She was one of my mom's, Winnie, favorite friends. Joe and my dad, Steve, attended Prep together and stayed friends til their deaths, when my parents continued their close friendship with Rose. The Nestors were a power couple, always going out of their way to be kind and helpful to everyone. The last time I saw them was in the new condo on the back highway where they were quite happy in their beloved Jersey City. RIP dear Rose.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Your mother was such a lovely person, inside and out . I remember , years ago , serving them at Ducky's an Italian Restaurant , and your mother would order a glass of wine and your father a screwdriver . After getting their drinks your mother would excuse herself , that's when your father would say hurry bring me another . When she returned she always smiled so knowingly ! God Bless all the Nestors !

My deepest condolences to the family for your loss. I had spoken with Ellen's husband Joseph back in the '80's to see if there was a family link, but couldn't establish that. However, we are all related through our ancestry, Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam. May she rest in peace.
