Ellen Peoples

Ellen Elizabeth Peoples, known to her loved ones as Ellen, passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 89 in Portland, Oregon. She was born on January 31, 1934, in Cleveland, Ohio. All of her life Ellen was creative and artistic minded. She began dressmaking at the age of seven, often designing her own outfits. She worked as a portrait model in various art schools; attended the Oregon College of Arts and Crafts while working as a Costume Designer and Wardrobe Mistress with the Oregon Repertory and Rose Theaters. She also created her own clothing line, which was named Ellen Wear.

Ellen also expressed her creativity in the kitchen where she cooked fantastic dishes for her family and friends.

Ellen is survived by four children and their spouses, James and Kathy; Lauren; Christopher and Hanne; Andrew and Mette; Seven grandchildren, Thomas, Olivia, Sophe, Adam, Jaz, Ziggy, Joshua and Cecelia and five great-grandchildren Felix, Oliver Kalle, Villy and Ezra.

Ellen will be deeply missed by her family and friends of which there are many.
