Ellen Peters

As friends of Clarisse & Devin in Calgary, and my parents Pete & Mary Friesen in Saskatoon, wish to extend our deepest sympathies, love and blessings to the Peters family. May Christ's peace be with you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during these difficult days as you mourn the loss of your beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and friend. May our God of peace wrap His arms around each one of you and fill you with strength and encouragment. Blessings.

Although we are not able to be with your family this weekend, our prayers are with your family during this time of loss. May you cherish the memories that you have of your Mom and Grandma.

I only met Ellen, and your family, recently when my Mom was kitty-corner from Ellen in their room at St. Paul's Hospital. Ellen was such a sweet lady. I enjoyed talking to her and seeing her responsive smile. It was evident just how much she was loved by her family as you gathered together to spend time with her. Interestingly, God had recently brought Ellen and your family to mind, and I had been praying for peace for you. Then when I checked the Star Phoenix obituaries on line this evening, I noticed that Ellen had passed away. May God continue to be your strength and peace.

My thoughts are with you at this time of loss. I have lifelong memories of my mothers' friends from SLBI/LCBI days, and their reunions through the years. My mother, Ruth Geving, passed away January 22, 2011, aged 89.

As friends of the Shiskowski family, we would like to express our deepest sympathy to the entire Peter's family. May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together. We will continue to pray for you all during this time.

I have the best memories of sitting around the Peters house especially around Christmas! Eating, playing games, talking and a lot of laughter filled those times and stopping in was a top priority each time I returned to Saskatchewan. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I know my life is immeasurably better because of the Peters family's impact on me.

I have fond memories of you as neighbors in my childhood years. I always appreciated Mrs. Peters stopping to say hi when we met at catering jobs that I was doing. Take lots of time to cherish wonderful memories of family times spent with your wife, mother, and grandmother. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time.
