Amy, I am so sorry for your loss. I am a very close friend of your dad and he talks about you all the time and how proud he is of you and how brave you have been these past few years. God Bless you. My heartfelt sympathy goes to you and your husband and dad.

Amy,
The first time I met your mom was at a horse show in Minnetonka. I heard this lady at the end whistle and screaming. I thought she can whistle as loud as i can! I like that gal. Then I met her. The first thing i saw was her happy eyes, they were smiling all the time. I was blessed to get to have the few but special talks with her. You have your moms eyes and her smile. My love to you and your family from mine.

I had the privelage of working with Ellen a few years back. I was so sorry to find out she had passed away. Ellen was a giving person and I always enjoyed her dry sense of humor. She wrote me a very nice note just after Christmas last year. I pray for healing for everyone in her family.

I don't even know what to say or how to say what I want to say. Amy, I didn't know your mom as well as all of the other people who have signed this guest book but, I know you, and I know how much you loved your mom and how much she loved you! You will always have her with you. In your heart, in your head and in your soul. You two are so much a like and I know you'll proudly display that every day in your life. I won't even try to pretend to know what you're feeling but just know this... You and Matt and Syd are so loved and have so much support and that will carry you through this. Along with Syd's smile and her laugh and her giggles.... Whatever I can do, I am there.

Carolyn and family,
My thoughts are with you and your family. Didn’t get to meet Andy’s big sister, but heard many wonderful stories. He’s still probably stealing her bath towels!

Thinking of you all.

Ellen was an inspiration to all of us. She always had a smile on her face, and she could calm any storm. Even when there were lemons everywhere, she found the strength to make lemonade with her children, Dale, and her family. Whenever the warm summer breeze drifts across my face, the comfort of her silly stories, incredible soul, funny laughter, and beautiful spirit, brush against my face to gently remind me that she is still with us. We may not be able to see her, but we can feel her positive energy wrapping us up with the power of her love, like a soft, fuzzy, warm comforter from her heart. She'll be missed, but always in our thoughts.

Caring, Concern, Compassion:
No one ever displayed those qualities better than Ellen. She was the Sister we never had, a great Friend and most of all, an infectious source of Happiness. It was plain to see that she was a great Wife and Soul Mate and a great Mom and Grandma. Now she has her Eternal Happiness. We hurt with you in the loss and rejoice with you for her well deserved Peace and Happiness. She is forever in our hearts.

My best memories of Ellen was that she always thought of others before herself and that quality showed in everything she did. Ellen took very special care of Mom when she was so ill. Ellen will now, even in her absence, watch over her family and friends like she did in life.
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of your family and friends.
