Condolences to the family of Elliott Erwitt,
What amazing photos he snapped from his early teen years up to the 21st century - evoked lots of emotions including laughter and just a plain ol' smile!
We can only imagine how many family photos of you, his dear ones, he captured! We pray they will bring you much pleasure and help you preserve cherished memories - even the bittersweet ones.
Be resolved to keep living as he would want you to, the way he did-never forget to enjoy life. May the Hearer of Prayers be with you.

Finding a photograph of my parents, my fiancé and myself, taken by Elliot, was my first exposure to Elliot´s work. It was taken in Santa Cruz, California in 1975. We found it in a photography magazine, a year or two later.
We recently were privileged to view the original in a Phoenix, Arizona art gallery.
My parents are now deceased. My wife and I have been married for 48 years with five children and six grandchildren.
Elliot´s studio in Paris has been kind enough to give me a copy.
