Elliott James Salvador

Elliott James Salvador infant son of Dr. Kimberly Marshall and Jon Salvador died shortly after birth Saturday, March 28, 2009, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City. Survivors include his mother, Dr. Kimberly Marshall and father, Jon Salvador of West Burlington; five sisters, Elizabeth Sorrell, Emilia Sorrell, Caitlin Salvador, Camryn Salvador, and Eva Salvador all at home; two brothers, Jonathon Salvador and Joel Salvador both at home; paternal grandmother, JoAnna Salvador of Burlington; maternal grandparents, David and Patricia Marshall of Burlington; maternal great grandmother, Elda Mae Marshall of Niota; maternal great grandmother, Rita Ballinger of Niota; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Salvador. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM with the family to receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the Hass-Thielen Funeral Home. The Private Family Funeral Service for Elliott James Salvador will be Thursday, April 2, 2009 in the Chapel of the Hass-Thielen Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Dutzer and Rev. Father Patrick Hilgendorf officiating. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. A memorial has been established for a scholarship in memory of Elliott James Salvador.
