We will miss Ellis and the campfire cookouts, riding horses where he boarded in Lake Worth and helping Ellis pick up food from the Restoration Food Bank we did for Victory Worship Center for a time when our services met on Wednesday before we switched back to Tuesdays. I also remember the same teacher he had, Mrs. Fortner's 4th grade I had two years after Ellis, living a mile SE of the school on 45th Street, and my sister and I walked there the first year we moved to West Palm Beach. Then we moved out west of town after that, attending Northboro in Northwood. May he ride horses through the streets of Heaven!

Looking back on all of the memories I have of Ellis over the years, I must say, He showed me Christ through his kindness.
Any time I needed help he was there.
His ministry of helps was so impactful.
I'm a widow and when I needed food, he brought it to me.When I needed help moving, he was there. When I needed the Word, we prayed. He sent me YouTube video's. Then there were times he brought me to church.
When I was between vehicles he let me use the explorer until the day came when he gave it to me so I could get back and forth to work.
He showed me Christ unshakable love that deeply ministered to my heart that needed healing.

You will be missed brother. I'm so glad that we were able to communicate a lot more the past few years. And I'm so disappointed that I wasn't able to see you last September at Tommy's. But I'll be there on the 4th with Rachel to say goodbye. Lots of love - I know you're happy where you are now.

Ellis was truly one of a kind. I´ve never known anyone with such kindness and dedication to serving God like he did. I must admit he could be a little cantankerous at times but that´s what made him so special. I was truly blessed to have a friend like him for so many years. He would faithfully pick me up for church every Tuesday night and Sunday morning. We would sit together or near each other but he was always in prayer during the service. I do remember one time when Lorraine and I were in the front row and Ellis was right behind us and all three of us were sleeping! We woke up at the same time and started laughing. It was very embarrassing as Pastor Sherri was watching from the pulpit. I remember riding horses with Rachel and Ellis when she was about 10 years old. We would watch horse videos at his apartment. I am so grateful for all the presious memories I have with Ellis. I loved him with all my heart. All I can say is "Good job faithful service our our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Ellis .... Constant friend and counselor - always there! I remember going and camping out one weekend there with a group. We prayed and you listened and offered support when needed. I remember you helped get a step thing for me to help me get up on the horse, because I am not as young as I used to be! We laughed! You offered a listening ear when I needed relationship advice and always spoke Gods word. Always constant light and life! I am so very grateful for you. Time is so very short. We will see one another soon again.
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life! No one goes to the Father but by me." So much peace in His presence ......

So very sorry to hear Ellis has passed. He and I are cousins, his mom and my dad were siblings. He was 3 years younger than me. Pre high school years, we had occasional family visits as he lived in Florida and I in NC. After that lost contact until we, and Aniece, connected on FB.
Am truly sorry for your loss.

You don´t know me, but I send you my deepest condolences. My late husband, Eric Morales served in the military with your father. They were actually very good friends Christian brothers. When my husband and I got married, we actually were on our way to Florida and spent a night at your father`s place.
I only met him the one time, but he was a very nice gentleman. My husband knew him well and thought highly of him. They are now together celebrating in heaven. I ask The Lord to give you strength and peace during this difficult time. God bless. Karen Morales.

Rick and I have known Ellis for years. Even though we moved, we still kept in contact. He was a mighty man of God and helped me a few times stay on an even keel in my walk with God. Ellie´s, ride on the wind and clouds with Tracker. She was a great horse and now you are together again!!

I´ve known Ellis now for probably 35 years. He´s done all of my appliance work. We attend in church together at Trinity Church international as well as other churches and other ministries very sad to hear of his passing and I extend sympathy to his family and friends. He is a great guy Kind and loving, and I was proud to have him as my friend. See you soon. Life is but a vapor is here today and it´s gone tomorrow, so I don´t know how much paper all of us have but as long as we have Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will join Ellis in heaven with the Lord God bless

I struggle to find the right words, it's far too hard for me to really say how I feel... but you were the best Father a girl could dream of and a true man of God. You sacrificed a lot for my happiness and made sure I had everything I ever wanted and more. I always felt like the center of your world, and I will forever cherrish my memories with you. I am so proud to call you my Father and will forever love you.
For those visiting, I truely appreciate all of the stories people have shared about their memories of my father. It has been helping me get through this, and I know he touched many lives. Please share any stories or memories you have here, or leave pictures, and don't hesitate to reach out.
As for anyone wanting to send flowers, I apologize for any confusion. The website wasn't clear on where they would be sent, but it looks like they are currently set to go to the funeral home. I am unable to change this now, but if you wish to gift flowers, it would be best to send to Victory Worship Center for the celebration of life ceremony on April 4th. You could also donate to any charity, or take part in a random act of kindness in his name, and I'm certain he would absolutely have appreciated that. There was nothing he enjoyed more than helping others, and I hope to help continue that legacy. Thank you again to everyone who has shared kind words. - Rachel
