Elmira K "Ella" Pendleton

Obituary:

Elmira Pendleton, known to many as Ella, passed away on April 11, 2024, in Santa Clara, California, at the age of 60. She was born on July 12, 1963, in Kazan, Russia, to the late Irek Lutfievna Mazitova and Kharis Khasanovich Khairutdinov.

Elmira, a Senior Quality Engineer 4, dedicated over 20 years of her career to Adobe Systems, Inc. in San Jose, CA. Her exceptional work earned her numerous awards throughout her career. Outside of work, she found joy in a variety of hobbies including walking, swimming, bicycling, hiking, dancing, curling, and engaging in computer and card games. She also enjoyed puzzles, sightseeing, photography, and both national and international travel. Her adventurous spirit extended to volunteering and she actively participated in charitable organizations.

Elmira is survived by her loving husband, David Pendleton, and her twin brothers, Nail and Ramil, residing in Kazan, Russia. She will be remembered for her angelic, loving, affectionate, and kind nature. Her humor, cheerfulness, intelligence, creativity, and generosity touched the lives of many.

A Celebration of Life memorial is being planned for Summer 2024. Contributions in Elmira's memory can be made to the charitable organizations she held dear, such as the American Society for Cancer Research, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Doctors Without Borders, and the American Diabetes Association. Additional charities she supported were the Rails to Trails Conservancy, The Nature Conservancy, Sierra Club Foundation, and the World Wildlife Fund. Honor Cremations in San Jose, CA, is assisting with the funeral arrangements.
