My friendship with Boots began when she was named City Beautiful Coordinator of the City of Greensboro. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and her leadership helped accomplish many beautification projects for our city. My deepest sympathy to the family.

I remember Boots from my working days with the City of Greensboro. Everyplace that she had anything to do with was absolutely breathtaking. She was indeed a very gracious, classy woman and there is no wonder why her work was always a "cut" above the rest. She was beautiful herself.
My prayers and thoughts to the family and pray that you are left with beautiful memories of a truly lovely lady. I will always think of her whenever I pass a field of flowers that I know she had her "hands" is starting.

I remember when Boots was our school grounds beautifier and all the work she did at Grimsley Sr. High when I went to school with Laura Glasgow, one of my very good friends. Boots was the best at keeping things beautiful. God bless your family.
