Elsa was such a special part of the Farm School here at Pinwheel Farm. She will always be remembered here with love, even though she only joined us for a season.
It's sad when some of the best people only pass through our lives for a short time, never to circle back...but even a short time with such a special soul is a lifelong blessing.

Elsa will be the second mentee I lose to suicide. I have been devasted by the loss of Ashley and Elsa. Both were Site Coordinators at Reading Partners during their Americorps years. Both shone as bright stars lighting up any room they entered. Both shared their struggle with injustices in the world and did something to make a difference. I was their supervisor at the time. I had a dream with Elsa not long ago but learned of this news today through a mutual friend. I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sorry the world has lost her.

My deepest condolences to beautiful Elsa's nearest and dearest. I never met Elsa, but knowing that I am the hugest fan of all things Latare combined with vividly moving essay, I can feel the sparks of her intelligence, curiosity, empathy, and willful spirit. And like the rest of the Latares, I expect she didn't have a clue of the striking impact of her deeply caring soul and how significantly she paid it forward with her every passionate breath. Sending peace and love.

Elsa always cared for my cats when we lived together as if they were her own. She made a lasting impact on me and on my chubby housecat. Maia and I are thinking of you always Elsa.

Elsa was a goddess that blessed us with her attitude, compassion, and true emotions. I love her dearly, and miss her so much. I have grown so much from being close to her, and she has given me such amazing times. Much love is sent to her family and friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. Elsa was a beautiful spirit with a striking presence. I hope you find comfort in your memories, and in all she left behind, and continue her efforts to fight injustice and make the world a more fair and caring place.

Sharing early on the experiences of relationships is mostly how I know Brindy. Playing softball and going to gatherings. Although we did not continue to see you when we started families, we are so sorry about her loss. Our condolences.
