Dear Fred, Martin, Herman and family. Our sincere condolences on the passing of your Mom. She was a lovely lady and we will all miss her....George Davis and family.

Dear Fred, Martin, Herman and family.

My heartfelt condolences on the loss of your Mom. She was very kind to me as a child and I will always have fond memories of her.

In fact I wanted to share one of my favourite memories of your Mom with you. You boys may recall it as I think you may have been there that day.
We had setup a high-jump in the back lane one summer, and were practicing our jumps one day, when your Mom happened by on her way to have coffee with our Mom. She was curious about the high-jump so we "coaxed" her (as only kids can) to take a jump. Your Mom, being the good sport she was, backed up and took a run at it. Well suffice to say this did not go well. The next thing I recall was your poor Mom laying on our makeshift mattress and foamies, with her leg in a very uncomfortable looking arrangement. But even as our Mom was "taking names", your Mom spoke out in our defense - she was so good-natured.

I hope memories like these ones will bring you comfort in your loss.
