Dear Lou, Andrea, Richard and extended family,
I was very saddened to hear of your loss from my sister, Idelle, this morning. When i was a little boy, back in the 50's & 60's my Mother and Father (Ralph & Phyllis Davis)were good friends with your folks Bernie & Elsie. We used to visit often and my memories of coming to your house on Horrocks St (we also lived on Horrocks St 7222 Horrocks) were so nice. There was always something going on there and it was always fun. Your parents were two of the nicest, kindest people i remember. Rest assured that they are together once again and probably having people over for some sort of party. Truly my memories of ALL of you are so nice and part of my childhood (the good part). Please accept my deepest heartfelt sympathy to you all. Elsie was truly one in a million and surely will be missed.
Sincerely,
Steven Davis

Dear Lou, Andrea & Richard. This is Dell Davis, daughter of Phyllis & Ralph Davis from Horrocks St. I don't know if you remember me; but my parents were very close with Bernie "Smash" (Ralph used to call him) & of course, Elsie. I'm certain that Elsie & my mother used to talk on the phone every now and then over the years. Your parents were the greatest, such nice, happy, kind people. I'm thinking of you & sending my love.

Most sincerely,
Dell Davis
