Mary and I are sad to hear of Elson's passing, we offer
our condolences to his family and friends.

Elson was an icon in the steel tank fabrication industry. He provided a voice of the industry on many code and regulatory groups involved with storage of hazardous liquids. I could always count on Elson having knowledge about issues of importance. But most of all, Elson was always smiling, and provided an infectious laugh, that made for many friends. He will be missed! Sympathies and prayers go out to family and friends.

Elson contributed greatly to the safe handling of liquid fuels in Ontario and nationally. He will be missed not only for his expertise, but the joy and laughter he brought with him. My condolences and prayers to his family and friends during this difficult time.

Dear friend/mentor, I can´t explain how much I´ll really miss you. You are an inspiration to the whole world. You were full of knowledge, faith, courage and strength. I wish you farewell in your journey to eternity. You´ll never be forgotten, rest in peace.

Dear family of Elson , I send my condolences and love to you . I remember your funny and zany : ) dad , uncle Elson when he visited Australia many years ago. We went and stayed at a beach house and he was always having a joke with us .My mum Gail recently shared a memory that he had gone to Cananda when she was little and he sent her and Carol fluffy Panda bears which they could only bring out to pay with on special occasions .In Guyana I don't think mum ever gad a fluffy toy like that before . She said when she was 9 they went to visit Elson in Canada and he set up crochet and other games for them to play . Good memories from a person who brought a lot of laughter wherever he went. So sorry for this very sad loss. Elson was always such a vibrant happy person. We will miss him. Sending sympathy and love to his children and their families and his siblings and their families and all who loved him.

Elson, you were always a delight to be with and I will miss your cheerfulness dearly. My prayer is that the Good Lord will welcome you into his eternal kingdom and comfort your siblings and family. You are about to join an elite group of Fernandes family members on the other side, as well as your beloved Lorraine. Pray for us and know that we will be praying for you.

Very sad to hear of Elson's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Elson on petroleum technical committees for over thirty years. He was the most valued contributor to every ULC, CSA or National Fire Code committee he worked on. It will be difficult to replace Elson's knowledge and no one can replace his laugh. My sincere condolences to his family.
