ELVA GONZALEZ Obituary
Elva Arreola Gonzales, born March 2, 1940 in San Benito, Texas to parents Teofilo Arreola and Petra Garcia, entered into eternal rest October 20, 2020 at the age of 80. Elva was preceded in death by her father, Teofilo Arreola; mother, Petra Garcia Arreola; brothers, Wenseslado Arreola, Alfonso Arreola, Juan Arreola, Jose Arreola; sisters, Elida Gonzales and Lillie Ramos. She survived by her husband, Mario L. Gonzalez; son, Andy Lee Martinez; daughters, Linda Palomo, Hilda Perkins, Sandra Rivera; sisters, Lidia Belleza, Noema Muniz; brother, Luis Arreola; and 8 grandchildren. Elva was very active in her church, and loved singing at church. She enjoyed shopping, sewing, and baking, especially during the holidays. Elva will be dearly missed by all her loving family and friends. Funeral services are as follows:
Monday - October 26, 2020: Visitation from 3-9pm at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, 2702 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237 with a family provided Christian service at 7pm.
Tuesday - October 27, 2020: Christian services starting at 9:30am at Hosanna Baptist Church, 237 School Drive, Poteet, Texas 78065. Graveside services at 11:00am at First Memorial Park, 20425 SH-16 S, Von Ormy, Texas 78073 following church services.
FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL MEET AT HOSANNA BAPTIST CHURCH TUESDAY MORNING.
