I did not know this lady, but I knew so much about her as most people in the cattle trade do.
I respected her for the true Texas spirit she had. She was fearless, strong willed and proud to be a Texan.
Texas will miss you Emily.

To a person that I had the pleasure to know, and work for her yrs ago, we met at Mc Comb's Plaza. She was and still is an angel. God bless you,

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. We did a lot of cattle hauling for the Dials and Henry Koontz. Henry even rode with us to Houston on one of the hauls. Mrs Dial needed Richard to haul some cattle one morning and I woke up to a phone call of "where the hell is Richard, I need him fast". She was a character.

Emily has been my neighbor across the street for the past twelve years. She was always fiesty, engaging and a thoughtful friend. It is so true when said "To know her is to never forget her"
You will be missed! Rest in Peace

Emily and Joe Dial were my son, Neal Stevenson´s Godparents. They were dear friends and gave my son and daughter, Morgan, their first horse, Blackjack, who had retired from their ranch. What wonderful memories we made.

I was Gertrude Emily's teacher in the third and fourth grade at the 3X ranch. What a brilliant, beautiful young lady she was. We had good times during the school day and after. She so loved her dog and her puppies. What a wonderful young girl she was! She called me simply "Mss Teacher".
