Emily Elizabeth Haddock

Prayers for this little girl. May the Good Lord bless and keep her, and may all those who knew her be comforted, meet up with her again someday in His house. She will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers continue to go out to Emily´s family. Here we are 15 years later and I continue to think about Emily quite often and the many great memories we shared at Colfax Elementary School in the same 3rd and 4th grade class. It´s crazy to imagine that even though we weren´t necessarily close friends she still impacted me and so many people she came in contact with. Speaks volumes about what a vibrant, kind, energetic young lady she really was. That´s what I remember most about her, making people laugh and helping others in need. I remember after she moved away from Greensboro at the start of middle school and then hearing about the incident on the news and just thinking this can´t be real. I´ll honestly never forget Emily. Taken from this earth far too soon.

Just came across Emily’s story and wanted to send my prayers and hugs to your family. Hope that you are finding ways to continue to celebrate her life.

I was Emily's school bus driver, I think of Emily from time to time and what a sweet girl she was. Her death has weighed heavy on my heart, her mom told me that morning when I stopped that Emily was sick and by that evening when I came to her road I was stopped by police road block. A detective entered my bus and asked me if I was Emily's bus driver and had I seen anything unusual that morning. I looked over to Emily's home and saw a hurst and asked if Emily was ok. He looked over the seat and saw I had students still on the bus. He just shook his head no. I held back my emotions and was allowed to pass to drop off my last students. I drove a short distance towards the school and had to pull over and call my supervisor, I couldn't stop crying.
Emily has touched so many peoples lives in her short time on earth. I for one will never forget her.

Emily was and still is the most amazing person I had every met in my life to this day. We sat together on the bus every single day in elementary school. Her laugh, that laugh something that will forever be on replay in my mind. I could never forget Emily and cant imagine ever forgetting her Emily was my bestfriend someone that always knew how to make me laugh and smile. She was always so happy about life and about everything. Believe it or not I actually have a tattoo of the day Emily was killed on my back I will never forget her as long as I live I love and miss her every single day. Rest Easy beautiful <3

emily was a very good friend of mine. she came to us when i was in sixth grade. she was one of the most polite people you would ever had met. she may be gone but she will never leave us, her classmates, friends, and family

me once. " you will always be my little boy no matter how old your are". I don't think she could even handle what you must have gone through.

When i found out about my friend Emily i cryed and cryed. i thought i was in a terrible nightmare and couldnt wake up. i first met emily in greensboro when my friend introduced me to her and i was really scared but she made me feel better. i just cant belive she's gone she's moved on but is in capable hands with our savior rest in peice my friend. we all love you.

i am one of emilys friends that played with her in the band and we love her very much and we will never forget her.

Last week driving past emily's cemetary, I noticed her final resting place had changed. Today I finally let curiousity get the best of me,, I entered the McFayden cemetary and photograhed Emily's grave. her memorial is just absolutely GORGEOUS!! most desrerving of an ETERNAL ANGEL!!

I was one of Emily's dearest friends and i love her with all my heart. When i found out that what happened acually happened i didnt want to believe it.and then when i got to school.my locker is 1 locker away.when i saw then purple ribbon on her locker all i could do was cry.i cryed for several day weeks maybe..i couldnt even eat.you are and always will be in my prairs.

On the one month "anniversary" of ur passing, my heart still goes out to the parents, Joy and JEFF. even as a passerby,, I am stil sowwed by emily's horrible death.

Jff and joy, I am deeply sowowed by your loss. I pass emily's grave 4 atimes a day and it gieves me that something like this could happen to such a wonderfull litle girl. I have decided to step up to the plate as a passer-by and launch a memororial fund for a nice headstone for emily! I visited her grave today which can be found on myspace under alex kohn.
