I remember Emily working at Delks. She was such a sweet lady. She dearly loved her family. Elsie and Joyce Ann, I am so sorry for your loss.

I don't remember her from school, but I certainly remember her years at Delk's! She was very much a part of our local history, always friendly and glad to help one out. Logan, we met last Sept. when we visited Southport with Nancy Prisk. Sorry I couldn't make it to the services. All the family has our sympathy. Frank and Pat Hall

It is with heavy heart that I hear about a classmates passing, as our ranks are thinning. We were fortunate to have Emily in our journey. May she be blessed in her continuing trip of life's cycle and her family remember her as a good and humble servant who loved you.

I was so sorry to read today of Emily's passing. Wish I had read it earlier so I could have attended the service. I always enjoyed our time together and the family members also. I am glad God allowed our paths to cross.

Dear Logan and family,
So very sorry to hear of the passing of your great aunt Emily. My thoughts and prayers are with you today. This world is such a small place, as you know my mother's family (Lane and Johnson) are from Surry and here you and your family are neighbors of mine in the Boothbay, Maine area. Such a wonderful connection. I wish I could be with you all in Ivor today, but I do look forward to seeing you back here in Maine soon.
With love,
Nancy Prisk

Miss Emily was a wonderful person! My son, Marshall, loved to visit her at Delk's when he was a little boy. We're saddened to hear of her passing. We will be out of town today and unable to attend the funeral, but will keep her family in our thoughts.
