Im soo sorry for your loss this is Lauren Thompson we went to our lady of fatima together and i havent talked to her since the summer and just found out. I think of you often, Emily. Your spirit whispers through the garden at the Owens Thomas House. Your laughter tickles the corners of the Slave Quarters. When I sit on the bench outside, I see you beside me showing me your new shoes. The last words I spoke to you were "You need to eat something, NOW!!" as you walked out of the door to get lunch. You smiled at me and said, "I know...I will." I wish I had told you how proud I was of you, and what promise your life held for you. You are missed....

Still thinking of you, Emily. You'll continue to be an inspiration to me.

There is no way I can fully understand what you and your family are going through concerning Emily's death. All I can think of is to let you know that I will be praying for you...not just today or tomorrow, but for weeks and months to come.
