In the early 50's I was the only Englishman on the "Ukranian Team of Repka & Hannley at Alba Real Estate". On many occasions, being single at the time, I was brought over to their home by Jack for a real sumptuous treat of Mrs. Repka's home cooking. It was the greatest! I shall never forget her cooking, her family, and especially Mrs. Repka's gracious manner. What a great lady. Your family should feel honoured and proud to have had such an elegant lady as your Baba. My sincerest condolences to all the family.

It was great sadness that I read of Mrs. Repka's passing. She was one of the most elegant women I have ever met. Several years ago, I went to visit her in the hospital, and she was so worried that her hair had not been done. I told her that she looked beautiful, and she really did. She was such a treasure to have living at the Terrace, and always came down for coffee. I know the residents will truly miss her. I feel deeply grateful to have had the honor of knowing her. Please accept my sincerest condolescences at this very difficult time.
