EMILY SARAH SEGAL

Emily came to my workplace shortly after we met. I was so happy to see her.

She came to my holiday party, and must have been as scared to meet me as I was her. Upon seeing her, I understood her completely. She was so delicate and beautiful. Our friendship unfolded so nicely. We often ate cheesecake together.

I didn't have the honor of knowing Emily, but I have heard about her through visits with Dr. Segal. He was always so proud to talk about his 3 beautiful children. I remember him telling us about Emily's beautiful work, and how talented she is. Such proud parents of their beautiful girl.
I pray for your comfort, peace and for God to wrap his loving arms around the entire Segal family.

Emily, I will never forget our adventures together. From the ski trip to Vermont out late in the hot tub with the older guys to our road trip to Arizona. I will never forget all the moments we spent together. You were never afraid to be yourself and there was never a dull moment when we were together. Thank you for always being there for me and I'm sorry I wasn't there for you more. Love you forever.

My heart goes out to the Segal family, Emily's family. My heart goes out to Emily, one of the sweetest persons and friends I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She will always be remembered as super special, bright in many ways and full of life. As you continue down the road of life, remember the rear view mirror is there for a reason. We are overwhelmed with sadness to learn of the loss of your beautiful and talented Emily this morning. Her recent work and a distant Hershey Hanukah Party memory from about 2004 immediately popped in my head. I could still see her bountiful teen exuberance among all the children of our good friends, her remarkable creative spirit and evidence of her kind, gentle soul.
