Dear Emily,

I am heartbroken for your family, especially for your girls, as you are laid to rest on this day. You and your girls were like family to me all these years, and I am beyond sad. I pray that your family will be comforted knowing that you are at peace now, yet we will all miss you so very much.

I will always remember you as a very special and good neighbor, and you, your family, and your two precious girls will be kept in a deep place in my heart always, until we meet again.

May the passage of time help bring comfort and peace to all who knew you, and that good memories will allow us to smile again.

Your neighbor, Carol

This is heartbreaking news. I had the pleasure of working with Emily for several years. She was extremely bright, sharp as a tack, and dedicated. Her light, smile and humor will be missed.

This is a crushing loss. Emily was one of my first "perfumista" friends. We met at Now Smell This many years ago where her perfume group name was Boojum. To me she will always be "Boo" . We bonded over perfumes we both loved and many chats about our daughters, and about how much we hated clutter but always seemed to be plagued by it! Amouage Lyric was the first perfume split she hosted back when we were all trying to figure out how to get Amouage here in the states and how hosting worked. I don't think she wanted to host splits after that! To this day I think of Emily every time I wear Lyric. I hope you're enjoying warm sunshine right now, I'll miss you, Boo.
