I grew up with Emma who lived near my Grandmother Gladys Miller-Hamler on 16th Virginia. My uncles, Calvin, Kevin and Duane Miller would visit Emma, Gary, Kim, Dino and Lynn in the circle where they lived. Emma always had a beautiful smile and laugh. She was kind person and my prayers are with the family. We attended Pulaski and Roosevelt together. God has welcomed an Angel in Heaven!

Emma was a wonderful teacher and colleague. And her smile lit up a room! She would share her expertise and knowledge in a heartbeat and was a delight to have in our building. I feel fortunate in knowing her and her son Martin who attended Brunswick (member of my kindergarten class) when Emma taught there. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family.

I grew up with Emma and her male cousins. She was a beautiful person and classmate. We were bandmates in both junior high and high school, Gary Roosevelt. She was always a favorite classmate of mine. Her demeanor was so very even and KIND. I will miss you Amme Flo. RIHP.

My condolences to the entire family of Emma. She was a beautiful, kind, funny person and always a joy to be around. We were all such tomboy and she loved softball

I will cherish all the childhood memories of playing outside on 16th and Carolina and around the neighborhood
