Happy Heavenly Birthday Auntie Em

Aunt Emma was always so happy and always had words of encouragement just when u needed it. I didn't spend much time with her but I heard of the great story my dad shared of Emma. How even growing up she was the only girl but she was the baby sister they all adored.

One summer I went to Corydon to spend some time with Emma. I was just a young kid then. She went to the movies and came home and told me all about it. It was called The Wizard of Oz. I was fascinated by it. She was the nearest thing I had to a sister.

I will miss you Aunt Emma. You are my favorite Aunt. There are too many memories to share here. May you have many beautiful birds to watch in heaven. Love you always Vera (and Bob)

I remember fondly the visits from Lowell & Emma and Uncle Seab & Aunt Hazel with Mom and Dad at the farm in Royston. I enjoyed hearing about living in Chicago and how different it was from Georgia. Keeping the family in my thoughts and prayers.
