Emmett Seaborn Obituary
Emmett worked for Southern Railroad and Norfolk Southern Railroad for 38 years in the Freight Claims Division. He was a member of the Cleveland Lodge # 134 F and AM. Emmett was a member of First Baptist Church Golden Gateway and the Seekers Sunday School Class.
Emmett is preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Pearl Seaborn; brothers Doyle, Thomas, and James Seaborn
Emmett is survived by his wife Jo Ann Seaborn; daughter Teresa ( Charles) Groves III; grandchildren Cynthia, Christina, and Charles Groves IV
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 4-7 pm and Monday, December 2, 2013 from 12- 2pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Monday, December 2 in the funeral home chapel
With Dr. Dale Huff and Dr. Thomas Quisenberry officiating
Interment will follow to Hamilton Memorial Gardens
In Lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church Golden Gateway, 401 Gateway Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37402

Jo Ann,
I was sorry to hear about Emmett's passing. It is always hard to loose a loved one. You and your family will be in my prayers.
I worked with Emmett during his days in Atlanta. I always enjoyed being around Emmett. He was always smiling and had a joke to tell. He will be missed.
