Ena Rabsatt

My darling and wonderful Aunt Ena was such a special person to my sister and I. I remember the Christmas times where we would dance and eat her famous tarts and sweet bread. I will always keep you in my heart and I can't wait to give you a big hug the next we meet and dance in the kingdom of our maker.

You could always count on Autie Ena for a good laugh. She was a wonderful person. You will be missed!!

Your Mom and my beloved aunt is gone, but she lives on in each of us. Aunty Ena, was full for Faith, Strength, Encouragement and let us never forget Laugher. In her time of trials Aunty Ena wrote me a letter of encouragement. I said how can someone experiencing what she was express encouragement and faith to anothers?!?! Only Aunty Ena. "Keep the Faith!"

What can I say! A life well lived, an aunt well loved and several lessons that she taught that will be a part of my life forever. Just being there for Aunty Ena and you all was another fulfillment of my life's goal...to be there when it matters most and be Jesus with skin on for others who are hurting and need encouragment. God Bless you all and know that I'm still here for you all.

Our earthly loss is her heavenly gain! That knowledge and the many precious memories allow us all to smile at the legacy of strength, bravery, and steadfastness our dear aunt left. I remain thankful of the gift of time we had with her, the relationship we shared, and the opportunities to fellowship together.

My sincere condolences go out to my cousins Melissa, Carol and Maxcine.

Aunty Ena my girl! Where do I begin? You are a special person, I love you so much! I want to thank you for dancing at my graduation party and for all of our little talks. You mean so much to me I can not even put in word. In the short time that I have known you, you have made a great enpack on my life! I love you and miss you. P.S. My prayers are with you and your family. Time eases all pain, God lifts you with his love. Celebrate the time you had with your mother on earth, remember, she lives within you still.

Aunty Ena, I don't know where to start. You was always a sweet and loving aunt and you will truly be missed. I remmember many times the first thing you would always tell me was "Gul yo don't smell good" and no matter what I was going true at the time that saying would always put a smile on my face. Aunty Ena I Love you so much we needed you but god needed you the most. So go home and rest until we meet again. I'll Love you now and forever. Your loving niece, Toyie

The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. For every end there is a beginning. The end of your mother's natural life is the beginning of her eternal life with the lord.

Auntie Ena was one of my favorite Aunts. Her innate ability to be a prolific story teller and gifted comedian made her likeable by most. Like Grannie Rose, her mother who preceded her in death would always say, "I'll see you at the banks of the river." Until then, Rest in Peace my beloved Aunt.

Maxine, I am sorry for your family's loss. Peace be with you and yours.

In this life, we encounter many things that we don't always understand. My prayer for the family, is that you will always look to God for strength and comfort. He loves you very much and I will keep you in my prayers.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. Ena used to come to the Indian Head Senior Center, and was a source of inspiration to all who knew her. I admired her for her faith, her strength, and her love for her family. She did not share her illness with many, but would sit and talk to me for great lengths of time. It was a privilege to have known her. I am confident that the Lord is taking great care of her. God Bless you all.

Ena was a lovely member of St. James'Episcopal Church, Indian Head,which she attended faithfully when she could and sang in its choir. Her many friends there will remember Ena as a devout Christian. I especially treasure the memories of home communions where she gave me more than I could give her. She will be much missed. Joan Shelton+
