O, the longing of our eyes to see you, the longing of our ears to hear you. Daddy humming that 'signature' hum as he goes out to work in his beloved garden, or the way that only he said, 'Boogity, Boogity, Boogity!'
Mama in that sweet southern sound as she said, 'I love ya', a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck,' and the soft sound of her lips smacking when she wanted to kiss you.
In the song, Once Upon a Time, there's a line that goes, '...once upon a time, the world was sweeter than we knew...' and it most definitely was with the two of you in it.
Randee spoke for all of us, so well, when he said, '...the greatest gift you ever gave us was each other.'
