I remember Eric as a high school friend of my son Bill. I want Mae to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Those Cumberland Buds have been in touch through joy and sorrow.

Glynn and Family, I want you all to know that I am thinking of you at this sad time in your lives. I had written a letter to Eric, but regretfully, hadn't mailed it yet. I did not know him, but felt as though I did, after reading letters from Glynn. You all are so lucky to have such a loving family to support each other.

Glynn and family, May God wrap you in His warmth and comfort during this difficult time. Eric fought a good fight and what a remarkable person he was.
