I have been so sad by Eric's loss I don't know much to say. You were a great person, Eric and I will always remember you. You knew how to look at someone when they were having a bad day and just make them crack up laughing. I'm so glad I got closer to you in high school and that you were such a great friend to have. You are so missed!!

I am so sorry for your loss. Eric was a great guy. I had the pleasure of performing with him in the Nutcracker. One day i was warming up in the studio and I saw a spider (a fear of mine!) I immediately reacted and tried to step on it...Eric calmly walked over, scooped it up and set it outside back to it's surroundings...he was a friend to all and his kindness will be well remembered. He was also a naturally talented dancer and very hard working. I loved watching him and the other guys being so creative and daring with their movements before the shows in the studios. I know the arts center family all shed tears for your family. You're in our thoughts and our hearts.

Dear Sister,

I am so sorry that Eric is no longer with us. You know, he may have made you a little crazy, needing to constantly correct your phonetic spelling of the grocery list, but that is one thing that will be missed about him. Please take comfort in knowing that God is taking care of him now and that he has a plan for us all. I am here if you need me...just call.

I love you very much! Your sister,

Dear Brand Family,
Our hearts and prayers go out to your entire family. During the Nutcracker we had the opportunity to dance and wait/talk in the wings with Eric-we were the adults right before him. One of our best memories of him was the night that all of you came to see him. He was so excited back stage, so thrilled to be performing in front of all of you, and so glad his Grandmother could make it to see him-telling everyone his family was here! Eric was so kind to people of all ages from the little children to the adults at the Ashtabula Art Center. The pictures that he shared with us were amazing as he tried to capture the essence of each dance and dancer. Your son was an amazing young man. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
With much care, Ruth, Jim, Kelly, and Chelsea McMullen

Eric was a fun guy and a fundamentally nice young man. I know he was loved by everyone who knew him. The Arts Center, and the world at large, are left poorer for his passing.

Please know that Eric and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.
