Condolences to the family. Very sorry to hear of Eric's passing.

Remember Eric ( Dwight ) from our younger days. Been a long time since I have seen him but have fond memories of our times together when I was visiting pap's farm. We used to go out early in the AM, down by the mine, and hunt for corncob mushrooms. Of course - we were always on the lookout for Copperheads!! And then Aunt Stella would cook the the mushrooms for us, either for breakfast or supper, or both ( an extra treat ). Great eats and good times had by all. So my memories are mainly out at the farms and all the good times we had roaming that great outdoors.

I first met Eric through my dear friend Michael Prucey--- we three then sharing an intellectual curiosity and similar political appreciation of the world at large. If you were a friend of Eric, then you were unconditionally a friend, and he and his family demonstrated this to be true through my years of practice as their Dentist. My life was enriched through knowing Eric--and he and I share the 2002 road trip to upstate New York---the moments and ideas we shared bring ours alone--and now they remain mine to carry till my final moments. Goodbye, friend Eric.......
