Eric A. Felix

Oshkosh - Eric A. Felix, 41, passed away in a tragic airplane accident Monday, November 24, 2025. He was born November 22, 1984 in Oshkosh to Lori and Gerald Felix. As a young boy he participated in Golden Oak 4H, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and other outdoor activities. He graduated from Oshkosh West in 2003 and went on to Universal Technical Institute for his Auto Technician degree. Eric worked for Bergstrom Automotive for several years.

Eric met the love of his life, Cali, on May 26, 2006. They were married December 6, 2008. Eric pursued his huge dream of opening his own business, Felix Auto and Tire, LLC. He poured his heart, soul, and time into the business.

Eric made so many new lasting friendships along the way. He was a man that could fix any problem and he would help anyone in need. He was so thoughtful and took care of everyone else before thinking of himself.

He started flying as a hobby to take a break from the shop, but it turned into his passion. He loved flying, fixing the plane, and just hanging out at the airport, another place where he made friends with everyone he met. Most of all he loved the week of EAA AirVenture, all things planes! He took his loving wife on so many adventures but most often to their cabin, their "escape" place.

Eric is survived by the love of his life and wife, Cali Felix; his parents, Lori (Wegner) and Gerald Felix; siblings: Jerod Felix (Julie), McKenzie Felix (Alex Arneson), Jason Felix (Netty) and Carrie Nicholas (John). He is further survived by his father-in-law, Larry Anderson; brother-in-law, Chad Anderson (Mellisa); sister-in-law, Kara Anderson; several nieces and nephews he adored teaching and spending time with; as well as numerous extended family and incredibly close friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rolland and Irene Felix, and Lester and Marion Wegner; uncles, Barry Wegner and Lyle Felix; and mother-in-law, Colleen Anderson.

A celebration of life will be held at La Sure's Banquet Hall in Oshkosh, WI on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, open house.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Cali. She would like to create a fund to continue helping people have their cars repaired at a fair price.
