Dear Mabel and Family
I was deeply saddened to hear of the sudden loss of Eric. My heart goes out to all of you. I always appreciated both yourself and Eric's genuine interest in myself and my family even though we met through business.
I am sorry I did not get a chance to speak to you at the funeral. It was a beautiful service.

Dear Mabel, Marvel and Danyle,
I was so sad to hear of the passing of my Canadian "Dad" and dear friend Eric. My thoughts, love and wishes are with you and the rest of the family. A special man, treasured by many. He will be remembered for his kindness, caring nature, the unconditional love he showed others and his unique sense of humour.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our friend, Eric, and our hearts go out to you, Mabel, Marv, Danyle and family, at this most difficult time. We regret that we will be unable to attend funeral services but will come and spend time in Alberta in the fall. The world is truly a sadder place today.
