Whenever I think of Eric, I think of a kind and gentle soul who I knew throughout my childhood moving from army camp to army camp including Soest, Germany. And I think of his little chuckle and positive life expression.

I was 17yrs.old when I first met you. During my 3yrs. with the regiment, you ruled with knowledge,fairness,and compassion - a real shining star. Excellent leadership -you won't be forgotten.

Phyllis and Cyrus send our feelings on the loss of one of our good friends. We have lots of happy
memories,at CFB Borden, Fonthill
and Ottawa. Our thoughts are with
Edna and family at this time.

I am so sad that Eric is no longer with us, but will be forever in my memory as a good friend, and one of the finest gentlemen I have ever known.

Although I will follow up with a card and letter I just wanted you to know that I am very sad to hear of my uncle's death. I have been thinking about him and Edna lately and this news came as a shock
