My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Eric's family at his passing. He was a wonderful guy who had a great sense of humor. May he rest is peace.

Happy Father's Day to you Eric. We became best friends as we talked by phone 3-4 times every week. I envied your ability to make friends so easily. Over the past 3 years, I laughed as never before as we played back some of the antics. You are a man of character and principles- we often spoke of family, love of country and God Above. I love you and I know that my feelings of deep loss will pass with time, replaced with the satisfaction of knowing you and Mom are together. Get some burgers on the "barby" because we'll be back together soon. I miss you- until then. How about that "zero pain" program you are in now- : )). You are a riot and my best friend to boot.

We are truly sorry to hear of Eric's passing. My mother,my brother, sister,and I visited Eric & family in Monument Beach & Vermont often when we grew up. We remember listening to Eric and watching his shenanigans. he was a cool guy,. and will be missed. I still have a black & white photo of me sitting on the motorcycle with him when I was young. We will miss you Eric...............

I want to also extend my deepest sympathy to the members of the Long Family at this time of loss. Eric was truly a "diamond in the rough" and his dry, sarcastic wit will always be remembered. In addition, Eric was special to myself and my family. I recall the special relationship that existed between Eric and my father when he was in the early stages of his growing business. He was an extremely hard worker and held good values and principles. He will greatly be missed.
