These condolences come from Eric`s sister Rauha and her children Ritva, Hannu and Taina from Finland.

Sorry to hear about Eric.He was a real inspiration to many in the nordic community.
I will always remember Eric's great smile and happiness around the trails in the "old days"

Eric's legacy to cross country skiing in the Calgary area continues on, enabling many to enjoy a greatly accessible sport and form of recreation.

Peter Viv So sad to hear about your dad.He was a soft spoken humble man that had lots of Finnish sisu.You know he was my hero. The first time I ever saw him he was trying out for the Olympic team. I could not believe how fast and gracefull these men were. From that point on I knew this was what I wanted to do.
