I found an old letter you wrote to me from Iraq when I was just a little kid. Its kind of late to give my words but I just wanted to say that you are an inspiration for me and you will never be forgotten. Rest easy Eric.

My heart aches each time I think of you guys. I wish I were closer to hug you; listen to you; to cry with you; just to be with you. All of you are in my heart and I pray that God brings you comfort. Eric was a wonderful young man and I know you are proud of him for many reasons. I am sure he had a wonderful reunion in heaven as he has quite a large family there! When this unspeakable pain and mourning the loss of Eric lessens you will be able to celebrate Eric's life and the many wonderful memories he left with you.
