Bonnie, I am so sorry for your loss. Ran across Eric's passing while searching your name. Would love to reconnect with you. You and the boys were such a part of my growing years.

I love you Eric, and I will miss you until the day I die. You know you were everyone's best friend, the good thing about that is we all have wonderful memories of your craziness as well as, your kind, sweet disposition. You are a very hard one to lose even though,of course, we know you're in a much better place. I hope you will enjoy your new job of guardian angel because you have so many of us to guard over. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend to Dustin, and to our whole family. Till we meet again... "later".

I knew you as a baby and a little boy. Then we lived miles apart. You grew into a wonderful man that I have been getting to know the last several years. I feel as if something is missing in my world and the opportunity to find out more about you is gone. Love and prayers to Bonnie, Ken and Austin.

What a surreal time. I dont even know where to start. Its so hard to believe that we wont see ya outside across the fence anymore. We wont be able to see you at the cookoff in Katy. Wont be able to wave to ya and talk about what beautiful weather we re having (by the way thanks for the gorgeous days we have had recently) It hurts, bad, but we know where you are there is no pain nor suffering, and that its only a temporary goodbye. I was blessed to of met you once- a long time ago, but I know how much you meant to a dear friend of mine. Thank you for showing the world what an amazing father looks like-Austin was a lucky kiddo. You lived a life of beauty-you can tell from all the loving and sweet words left by everyone here. I pray that God will bring peace over your family and friends as they learn to live without your presence. Rest in Peace ??

Even though I only you knew you for a short time, you made an impression on me. We had some good talks and you gave me some great advice ... I might not have always followed it to a "T" but I tried. I once had a problem and you told me to just give it time. But as we all know....time is precious. I am still working on resolving that problem and I hope that I can. It's hard to believe that even though I just saw your beautiful smile that I will not see you again until I walk the streets of gold myself. I am praying for peace, guidance and comfort for your family and friends. It is very clear to me how important these people were to you and I know you will always mean the world to them. Praying for all of you!

Tomorrow will be 8 short months since I met you...a night I will never forget. You taught me so much in that short time and my heart aches to know I will never get your phone calls anymore. You were such a humble soul...a man that changed so many lives around him, yet you never boasted in that. You knew you were doing the work that God had laid out for you and to you, it was something that just needed to be done. You lived to bring your friends together and you spoke every day on the importance of enjoying life. I pray that all your friends remember your words and live by them. We spoke many times of your past struggles and I wish I could have shown to you while you were here how much of a GREAT father you were..everyone around you knew that, and I can only hope that you are looking down and feel that now. You truly lit up every time we spoke of Austin...your hunting trips, your annual trip to Florida, the nights he would call you to say he wanted to come spend time with you. I could hear the excitement in your voice. I just wish I had had a chance to meet Austin. I can only imagine he has a lot of you in him. I can imagine you being very upset with me for not being able to hold it together this week...I will not question God's will, but that doesn't ease the hurt. I will forever remember your sweet face...you took a piece of my heart with you. Until I see you again, tell my Dad I love him and be sure to save me a dance. Love you always, my friend.

Eric I only knew you for a short 4 years but you placed such a great impact on me and many more . Your smile , laughter , love , jokes will be missed but we do have memories! RIP , much prayers for Austin and family. See you on the other side ...

Eric was someone who truly gave his heart to everyone he ever met. He always had an ear to listen and a shoulder when needed. The thing I loved about Eric is he didn't sugarcoat a thing. He would tell you exactly how it was even at the risk of hurting your feelings. I knew Eric from high school and reconnected with him through mutual friends. He was always the jokester. You will be greatly missed my friend. I am praying for your family and will see you again one day. God bless!

I am so blessed to have met you, there is not enough thanks i could have given you for just being the genuine person you were. You didn't have to listen to me cry but you did. You didn't have to help me find some understanding in my life/my mothers death but you did. You were more than a coworker/manager to me you were truly a friend. This is very surreal to believe you are gone and my heart truly hurts that i never told you that you truly were amazing. You had an awesome sense of humor which i will miss immensely. Eric was such a sweet man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts are with you in this sorrowful time.

Eric was an amazing man. From the first night I met him, his smile lit up the room and made everyone in it happier. He always was there when you needed the shoulder to cry on, a laugh or some random "Ericism" to explain the situation. From the nights at Red River in his pink shirt, to his birthday parties and river trips, you couldn't help to have a great time with Eric. I can't imagine not running into him anymore, no more "Haaaay Girl", or him getting an Aggie joke in. Eric is greatly loved by anyone who knew him. he was so proud of Austin. The weekends without him, just weren't the same. He lacked just a bit of that gleam in his eye, but ask him how Austin was and it was right back there. I wish I had called for dinner more often, but I will never forget him jumping right in our bachelor/bachelorette party at Red River and dancing the night away and laughing it up with us! RIP Eric. We love you and miss you! Dance the night away with Julie!
